Gonzo journalist and epic writer Hunter S. Thompson loved his Colorado cabin, it’s where he went for solitude, peace and quiet to write, as well as an isolated place to blow shit up in his free time. (If you’ve read his work you know the drill).

Hunter was a brilliant, ingenious, erratic writer – fearless, twisted, passionate, and slightly wicked.

The cabin, which was owned by the late author behind the best-selling novel Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is available for rent on Airbnb.

For $550 per night, you can enjoy the comforts of Owl Farm, which Thompson often called his “fortified compound” in his writings.

The lodge is being rented out by Thompson’s widow, Anita Thompson, to support the Hunter S. Thompson scholarship for veterans at Columbia University.

The cabin listed on Airbnb has two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen and one of Thompson’s writing desks.

✍🏼 Author Neil Cross Lands ‘Because The Night’ For ITV

“Luther” creator Neil Cross is adapting his own novel of murder and the supernatural into a four-part series, “Because the Night,” for British commercial broadcaster ITV.

  • The series is based on Cross’ book “Burial.”

The show centers on Nathan, a well-meaning but aimless man who harbors a dark secret and is shaken when a figure from his past shows up on his doorstep.

The show is slated to premiere sometime in 2020, and we couldn’t be more excited. What makes me jump for joy is the ability of creator Neil Cross and his ability to jump between mediums from screenwriting (2013’s Mama) , book writing (Luther Book) , or television writing (BBC’s smash Luther) and find great success in all fields.
