Creator To Turn Video Game ā€˜Just Causeā€™ IntoĀ Movie

Kolstad, (John Wick Franchise creator) has boarded the film adaptation of video game franchiseĀ Just Cause, produced by Constantin Film. All hands are on deck for this production with the intention set on creating a serialized universe as prolific as the games.

Minions Garners Another Sequel

In another addition of ā€œOh Snap, thatā€™s STILL a thing?ā€ UniversalĀ Pictures andĀ IlluminationĀ have set on a title for the sequel to their hit 2015 animated filmĀ Minions, itself a spinoff of theĀ Despicable MeĀ franchise.

The latest film, now titledĀ Minions: The Rise of Gru, has already set a July 3rd, 2020, release date.

Anthony McCarten (Bohemian Rhapsody)Ā is writing and producing a feature version of the documentary Three Identical Strangers. The film follows a set of American triplets, born in 1961 and adopted as six-month-old infants by separate families, unaware that each child had brothers.

Paramount Goes Full ā€˜Party Girlā€™ Mode

ParamountĀ Pictures are going full valley girl after picking upĀ Party Girls, an original pitch from theĀ Legally BlondeĀ screenwriting duo Kirsten ā€œKiwiā€ Smith andĀ Karen McCullah.

Party GirlsĀ is a female ensemble comedy about a group of party girls from the Studio 54 era who reunite in the present day, now in their 70s, to continue the party.

Together, McCullah and Smith have a history of creating cultural and box office hits, the duo co-wrote the screenplays for teen rom-comsĀ such as 10 Things I Hate About YouĀ andĀ Sheā€™s the Man. The two also served as executive producers onĀ The House BunnyĀ andĀ The Ugly Truth.
